Here at go driving lessons Bolton, we use the most up to date coaching and mentoring techniques, alongside modern training methods using Apple iPads. Our driving lessons are centred on an individual’s needs and requirements, to ensure the best possible outcomes when taking your driving test.
Our sole aim is to deliver a learning journey that will prepare every pupil not only for their test, but for a lifetime of safe, defensive driving.
As we are fast approaching an unbelievable 40 million cars registered in the UK, the driver syllabus has changed beyond all recognition (with more drastic changes on the way). The training that we provide, reflect the requirement for modern day driving on all types of roads and everyday scenarios.
As opposed to your typical over sized, franchised driving school , our training has a fresh, personal and most of all fun approach to developing skills rather than the tradition ‘show and tell’ way. We are a local, independent driving school, proudly based in Bolton, ideally placing us to provide driving coaching throughout the North West.

Hi, I’m Martin Galway, your tutor and sole owner of go-driving-lessons. I live in North Bolton at the Cottonwork Mill development in Sharples. I am Bolton born and bred, so I know the area and people well
With 20 years previous experience in recruitment and area management within the telecoms sector, one of my key skills is to develop, coach and mentor people to gain the best possible outcomes. This key skill enables me to deploy the latest coaching techniques to all pupils of go-driving-lessons Bolton
My character is easy going and relaxed. I feel this helps as all lessons should be fun and enjoyable, as well as being structured and informative. A relaxed atmosphere aids and reduces the stress of learning, particularly in the early stages.
Feel free to call me for a “no pressure” chat about becoming a pupil. I’m also keen to hear from learner drivers who feel they are not getting what they expect from their current tutor or simply don’t enjoy their lesson time.
